Association for SunYat-sen Studies

The Association for Sun Yat-sen Studies is the only academic society in Japan to study Sun Yat-sen. We are charged by Sun Yat-sen Memorial Foundation with a variety of work, such as collection and research of Sun Yat-sen’s materials, theoretical and historical studies about Sun Yat-sen and Japan-China relations, publication of academic results, and publicity work for the general public

★ Journal of Association for Sun Yat-sen Studies
The Journal, which contains papers of historical studies about Sun Yat-sen and modern China, book reviews as well as reports of association’s activities, is published twice a year, in March and September.

★ Admission Formalities
A member has a right to contribute his/her paper to the Journal of Association for Sun Yat-sen Studies, to receive a copy of Journal, and to join association’s activities such as regular meeting.
1. Application procedure: A new applicant should be introduced by a current member. Being recommended by a member, fill out the application form and pay an annual membership fee.

￥5000 for an ordinary member
￥2500 for a student member
